刘国钧著作的海外收藏研究——以WorldCat馆藏记录为中心的考察

摘　　要：著作的海外收藏情况是反映学者国际学术影响力的重要维度。文章利用WorldCat数据库调查统计了刘国钧9部著作在海外图书馆的收藏情况,并对收藏较多的书史著作进行了专门分析。研究发现,刘国钧著作在海外有十分广泛的收藏,遍及6大洲29个国家的255家图书馆;美国是主要的收藏国,又以哈佛大学图书馆和芝加哥大学图书馆为最多;其著作中,《中国书的故事》的收藏与传播最为广泛,海外馆藏记录中有该书6种语言的7个外语版本,显示出刘国钧的书史研究具有国际性的影响力。文章为全面评价刘国钧或其他图书馆学家的学术贡献和影响提供了一个新的视角。The overseas collection is an important dimension to reflect the international academic influence of scholars.In this study,WorldCat database is used to investigate and analyze the collections of nine books by Liu Kwoh-Chuin in overseas libraries,with a particular focus on the more widely collected books on research of history of the book.It shows that Liu Kwoh-Chuin's books have been extensively collected overseas,covering 255 libraries in six continents 29 countries;the United States is the main collector,with Harvard University Library and the University of Chicago Library having the most extensive collections.Among his books,The Story of Chinese Books is the most widely collected and disseminated,with seven foreign language versions in six languages found in the overseas catalog records,demonstrating the international impact of Liu Kwoh-Chuin's research on history of the book.The paper contributes to providing a new perspective for a more comprehensive evaluation of Liu Kwoh-Chuin or other library science scholars academic contributions and influence.
