摘  要:在欧战启动的“新战国时代”,中国被进一步卷入到世界危机与国家危机迭加的境遇,针对这一复合性危机前提,陈独秀、李大钊、杜亚泉和梁启超等人都通过“自觉”的阐发来进行回应,其中包含着个人主义、民族主义乃至世界主义等不同向度的价值驱动,承具丰富的启蒙张力。欧战背景下中国知识分子之间的文化论争具有文化自觉与文明自觉的双重特征,他们对战争与文明史观的批判成为超克帝国观念的契机,体现了经由主体反思通达人类世界普遍关怀的历史性突破。In the era of the“New Warring States Period”triggered by WWI in Europe,China found itself entangled in a complex web of global and domestic crises.Against this backdrop,prominent figures such as Chen Duxiu,Li Dazhao,Du Yaquan,and Liang Qichao responded to the situation with their unique interpretations of“consciousness,”encompassing various dimensions of individualism,nationalism,and even cosmopolitanism,thereby embodying a profound sense of enlightenment.Amidst the European conflict,the cultural discourse among Chinese intellectuals possessed a remarkable duality,characterized by both cultural and civilizational consciousness.Their critique of war and exploration of the history of civilization served as a catalyst for transcending imperialistic concepts,marking a historic breakthrough in attaining universal concerns and fostering collective introspection within the global community.
