摘　　要：任何历史书写都是时代的产物,也是回应时代需求的反映,晚清海关医官的历史书写亦是如此。既往研究中,受西方文明史观影响,海关医官营造出现代卫生文明使者的虚像,同时烙印着革命史独具的侵略者实像。新史料的涌现以及学界对海关史研究的深掘,促使海关医官人物以更加真实而鲜活的面相浮现于海关史叙事之中,继而形成近代海关雇员与执业医师兼具的双重镜像。借助海关医官这一海关史人物的历史视角,有助于审视近代海关不同职业群体的生成及其衍变轨迹,期冀明晰海关史料背后所蕴涵的历史规律性认知。Any historical writing is a product and a reflection of the needs of era,and the history of Customs Medical Officers in the late Qing Dynasty is no exception.Previous studies,influenced by Western colonial history,presented Customs Medical Officers as both envoys of modern health civilization and aggressors in revolutionary history.However,with the emergence of new historical materials and in-depth study of customs history,Customs Medical Officers were given a more realistic and vivid image in the narrative of customs history,which presents a dual role of modern customs employees and practitioners.Viewing customs history through the perspective of Customs Medical Officers helps us understand the formation and evolution of different professional groups within modern customs,thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the underlying historical patterns within customs records.
