论《尤利乌斯·凯撒》中的平民形象

摘　　要：在《尤利乌斯·凯撒》中,平民以不同于贵族的方式积极介入罗马政治。首先,平民作为戏谑的表达者来回应政治事件和贵族的质疑;其次,平民以占卜术等方式介入政变,作为被否定的一方,他们与统治者凯撒相互堕落;最后,面对政治上的危机,平民成功占据评判者的地位,他们既是法官,也是执行者,其结果是平民无序的暴乱带来了共和国的倒塌。由于重精神和理性、轻感官和意志的传统,如柏拉图的《理想国》,莎士比亚对平民的刻画并不理想。In Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Julius Caesar,civilians actively involved themselves in the Roman political affairs in a different way from the nobility.First,they responded to political events and noble doubts as a joker.Secondly,they intervened in the coup by divination and other methods.As the denied party,they and the ruler Caesar have fallen into each other.Finally,when facing a political crisis,they became judges and executors.And their disorderly riot resulted in the collapse of the Republic.So,in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar,Shakespeare failed to portray civilians ideally for he cared more about spirituality and rationality.
