In order to explore the effects of stress relaxation characteristics and instability failure characteristics of fractured rock on the long-term stability and safety of the project, using the TFD-2000/D type rock dynamic disturbance servo triaxial test system and DS5-16B type full information acoustic emission instrument, uniaxial step loading stress relaxation acoustic emission tests were carried out on intact rock and fractured rock with different inclination angles. The results show that:under the same conditions, the peak axial stress of fractured rock is lower than that of intact rock, and as the inclination angle increases, the peak axial stress also increases. The stress relaxation degree and the initial stress relaxation rate of intact rock and fractured rock firstly increase and then decrease with the increase of strain.According to the rate of relaxation, the relaxation process is divided into fast relaxation stage and slow relaxation stage. There are acoustic emission signals in loading stage and relaxation process.Acoustic emission characteristic values can be regarded as an effective information to judge the failure condition of rock.
