摘　　要：钩虫病是一种地方性慢性寄生虫病,川东北碚钩虫病的防治开全川之先。1939年国立江苏医学院内迁至川东北碚,洪式闾等人通过粪便检查与实验研究确诊地方怪病“水积病”实乃钩虫病,随即与北碚行政当局合作开展流行病学调查与防治工作。国立江苏医学院洪式闾等人主导的钩虫病防治工作一方面协助了地方政府改善当地医疗卫生条件,引导民众改变生活习惯;另一方面教学与研究相结合,发现新虫种,助推中国寄生虫病学学科知识的发展。北碚钩虫病的研究和防治工作也让医学界人士更关注中国西部的地方病,成立中国西部地方病调查所,关注民众疾苦,助推乡村公共卫生建设。Hookworm disease is a kind of endemic chronic parasitic disease.Beibei is the first place in Sichuan to start the prevention and treatment of hookworm disease.In 1939,the National Jiangsu Medical College moved to Beibei.Hong Shilv and his colleagues confirmed that the endemic disease or“waterborne disease”was hookworm disease through stool examination and experimental research.Subsequently,they cooperated with the Beibei administrative authorities to carry out epidemiological investigation and prevention work.They led the prevention and control of hookworm disease in Beibei.On the one hand,they assisted local governments in improving local medical conditions and guiding people to develop hygiene habits.On the other hand,they combined teaching and research,discovering new insect species which promoted the development of parasitology in China.The research and prevention of hookworm disease in Beibei also made the medical community pay more attention to the endemic diseases in southwest China,and established the Endemic Diseases Investigation Institute in West China so as to pay attention to the sufferings of the people and boost the construction of rural public health.
