摘　　要：英国作家石黑一雄的作品《克拉拉与太阳》(Klara and the Sun,2021)将背景设置在近景未来中的美国,藉由人工智能伙伴克拉拉的视角展现了一个充斥着不安与竞争的后人类社会。现阶段的相关批评主要集中于小说所批判的技术理性,而未能深入挖掘其核心情节,即乔西因基因提升罹患重症所引发的疾病伦理。从疾病伦理学的视角出发,小说中蕴含的唯科学主义疾病观与整体疾病观构成了小说独特的思想魅力。小说揭示了人类所持有的原子论式的唯科学主义疾病观的局限性,并藉此确立了整体疾病观的有效性,通过将乔西的疾病置于与他者、社会和生态的互动之中,整体疾病观从宏观层面确诊了乔西病因并最终使其痊愈。British author Kazuo Ishiguro's work,Klara and the Sun(2021),is set in a near-future America and de-picts a post-human society filled with unease and competition through the perspective of an artificial intelligence companion,Klara.Existing critiques mainly focus on the novel's commentary on technological rationality but fail to.delve deeper into its core plot-Josie contracting a severe ilness due to gene enbancement,which triggers the explora-tion of disease ethics.Approaching from the perspective of disease ethics,the novel encompasses both the scientistic view of disease and the holistic view of disease,forming its unique intellectual appeal.The novel exposes the limita-tions of the atomistic scientistic view of disease held by humans and establishes the validity of the holistic view of dis-ease.By situating Josie's iness within the interactions with others,society,and ecology,the holistic view of disease identifies the root cause of Josies ilness from a macro level and ultimately leads to her recovery.
