摘 要:夏目漱石的经典之作《三四郎》至今依然为人们津津乐道,然而数量颇丰的研究成果似乎尚未关注到“修养时代”这一小说诞生的同时代语境。文章聚焦“修养”与日本近代教育的关联“、修养时代”的新闻小说的形态特征,尝试为《三四郎》研究开拓新空间。以“修养时代的读者”为视角切入文本可以发现,《三四郎》揭示出“学历”社会的功利化、知行分离的教养主义倾向、压抑自主性的修身教育等日本近代教育弊端及其在自我形成方面带给青年的挑战。在历时数月的连载中,新闻小说《三四郎》作为连结漱石与报纸读者的修养话语传播装置逐渐成立,开辟出“新闻小说”这一文类的全新可能性。Sōseki Natsume's classic Sanshirōis still dwelt upon with great relish today.However,the rich research results seem to have not paid attention to the contemporary context of the"Era of Cultivation"in which the novel was born.This article focuses on the interconnection between"cultivation"and modern education,and the morphological characteristics of news novels in the"Era of Cultivation",attempting to open up a new space for the study of Sanshirō.From the perspective of"Readers in the Era of Cultivation",we can find that Sanshirōreveals the drawbacks of modern Japanese education,namely,the utilitarianism of the"diploma-oriented"society,the Culturalism tendency of the separation of knowledge and action,and the moral education that suppresses autonomy,which brought challenges to young people in the aspect of self-formation="cultivation".During several months of serialization,the news novel Sanshirōwas gradually established as a dissemination device for the cultivation discourse joining Sōseki and the newspaper readers,which opened up new possibilities for the genre of"news novel".
