知识中介活动的内涵、功能与运行机制分析

摘　　要：[目的/意义]知识中介活动是一种普遍存在的、稳定的、一般的客观知识交流活动。将知识中介活动作为研究对象,对图书馆等以文献为载体、以知识服务为目的的相关组织或机构的业务活动具有较强的理论解释能力。[方法/过程]从图书馆活动的本质视角出发,借鉴传播学和知识管理的相关理论,对知识中介活动的内涵、功能与运行机制进行分析。[结果/结论]知识中介活动是知识中介者借助一定的技术与方法对知识客体的传递过程进行有效控制的行为。知识中介活动呈现出形式论、本体论、方法论和价值论等多层结构形态,表现为连通性、转换性和控制性典型特征,基本结构包括中介者、用户和文献知识,核心功能由知识选择与序化、知识发现与获取、知识转化与利用构成。知识中介活动的运行系统构成要素包括主体、客体、工具、目的、状态和环境,其运行机制包括驱动机制、施动机制、传动机制和受动机制。[Purpose/Significance]Knowledge intermediary activity is a socially pervasive,stable and generally objective knowledge exchange phenomenon.Knowledge intermediary activities,taken as the object of study,has a strong theoretical ability to explain the operational activities of related organisations or institutions,e.g.libraries,which use literature as the carrier and aim to provide knowledge services.[Method/Process]From the perspective of the nature of library activities,this paper analyzed the connotation,function and operation mechanism of knowledge intermediary activities,drawing on the relevant theories from communication science and knowledge management.[Result/Conclusion]Knowledge intermediary activity is the act of the knowledge brokers effectively controlling the transmission process of the knowledge with the help of knowledge control technologies and means.The knowledge intermediary activity presents the multi-layered structure consisting of the layers of formalism,ontology,methodology and axiology.Its typical characteristics are connectivity,transformation and control.Its basic structure includes mediator,users and documentary knowledge.Its core functions consist of knowledge selection and sequencing,knowledge discovery and acquisition,and knowledge transformation and utilisation.Its components of the operational system consist of subject,object,tool,purpose,state and environment.Its operating mechanism includes driving mechanism,acting mechanism,transmission mechanism and passive mechanism.
