摘 要:模块化多电平变换器(MMC)己在直流输电、电机控制等领域得到广泛应用,电容数量以及电容电压波动是影响MMC成本与性能的主要因素。提出了一种用于中压场景下的混合模块化多电平变换器(HMMC)的改进拓扑结构,在原有的HMMC上、下桥臂之间插入了一种新型的中间模块,通过3次谐波电压以及梯形桥臂电流的注入来减小桥臂上子模块电容上的电压纹波,提高变换器调制比。同时,通过控制所提出的新型中间模块,消除由于3次谐波电压注入引起的交流侧共模电压,提高交流输出侧相电压波形质量。与现有结构相比,所提出的新型中间模块器件数量较少,对于不同桥臂电流控制方式有良好的兼容性。最后通过Matlab/Simulink仿真结果以及实验验证了新型串联电容HMMC的有效性。Modular multilevel converter(MMC)has been widely used in DC power transmission,motor control,etc.The number of capacitors and capacitor voltage fluctuation are the main factors affecting the cost and performance of MMC.An improved topology of hybrid modular multilevel converter(HMMC)for medium voltage scenario is proposed.A new type of intermediate module is inserted between the upper and lower arms of the original HMMC to reduce the voltage ripple on the sub-module capacitors on the arms.Meanwhile,the modulation ratio of the converter is improved through the injection of the third harmonic voltage and the trapezoidal arm current.At the same time,the proposed new intermediate module is controlled to eliminate the AC-side common-mode voltage caused by the third harmonic voltage injection and improve the AC output-side phase voltage waveform quality.Compared with the existing structures,the proposed new intermediate module has less number of devices and good compatibility for different arm current control methods.Finally,the effectiveness of the new series capacitor HMMC is verified by Matlab/Simulink simulation results and experiments.
