权力规训与主体反抗——福柯理论视域下《使女的故事》

摘　　要：《使女的故事》是加拿大著名小说家玛格丽特·阿特伍德的代表作,作品被多国翻译出版并享有盛誉。小说描写了反自然、反科学的极权统治对女性的残忍压迫。文章运用福柯的话语权力、规训权力以及“自我技术”理论,分析基列共和国权力运作的策略和女性的主体反抗,揭示小说中权力的运作方式,以期对现实社会起到启示作用。“The Handmaid’s Tale”is the representative work of the famous Canadian novelist Margaret Atwood,which has been translated and published by many countries and enjoys high reputation.The novel depicts the cruel oppression of women by totalitarian rule against nature and science.The article applies Foucault’s discourse power,disciplinary power,and“self-technology”theory to analyze the strategies for the operation of power in the Republic of Gilead and the female subject resistance,revealing the mode of power operation in the novel,with the aim of providing inspiration for the real society.
