综合性大学新增哲学专业的必要性探析——以河南科技大学为例

摘　　要：在人类的文化知识体系中,哲学具有特殊的学科地位、作用与功能。就学科分化与发展而言,哲学是自然科学和人文社会科学的最初母体;从人类社会历史变迁来看,哲学是时代发展的必然产物;从文化建设来看,哲学是文化繁荣、文化强国的必由之路;就大学的使命、学科建制与综合发展而言,哲学为各门学科提供了最坚实的基础。当前,对于河南科技大学这样一所以理工学科为主导的综合性大学来说,新增哲学本科专业十分必要。The philosophy major possessed special subject status,role and function among the human knowledge system.Philosophy was the mother of natural and social sciences in terms of the subject development.Philosophy was the necessity of the era development considering the social change.Philosophy was the the route we must take to the cultural prosperity and cultural power in terms of cultural construction.The Philosophy major provided the most solid foundation to the mission,subject setting and the comprehensive development of universities.So it was necessary to add the philosophy major at present to Henan University of Science and Technology.
