摘　　要：丘处机(1148—1227),山东省登州府栖霞市原滨都里村人。他自幼向道,苦炼精修,创立全真教龙门派。以体真履规,道高德厚,受到一代天骄成吉思汗的召见,被尊为“神仙”,成为帝王之师。他格物养性,外修阴德,济世救民,“一言止杀”建奇功,其光辉的思想道德延续至今,成为中国道教史上的一面旗帜,是中国道教史上的一座里程碑,是中国道教史上第一人。Qiu Chuji(1148-1227)was born in Binduli Village,Qixia City,Dengzhou Prefecture,Shandong Province.At a very young age,he began to practice Taoism and later established the Longmen Sect of Quanzhen Taoism.For his pious search for truth and ceaseless practice of Integrity,he was summoned by Genghis Khan,who honored him as an"immortal"and asked him to be the emperor's teacher.He cultivated his nature by doing good deeds and helping poor people.He was credited for persuading Genghis Khan to cease violence and killing,and his brilliant ideology and morality have continued to this day.Today he has become a banner,a milestone,and the first person in the history of Taoism.
