建设中国特色世界一流大学的探索与实践——中国石油大学(华东)的奋进历程及思考

摘　　要：中国石油大学作为新中国第一所石油高等学府,建校70年来始终坚持以为党育人、为国育才为根本目标,始终坚持党的全面领导,始终坚持服务“国之大者”,始终传承石大精神,为我国石油工业和石油高等教育从无到有、从弱到强提供了强有力的支撑,作出了不可替代的贡献。进入新时代以来,学校贯彻新发展理念、探索新发展路径,完成办学结构调整,以“双一流”建设为契机,系统实施一系列战略举措,学校事业发展呈现崭新局面:党建统领明显加强,立德树人成效显著,科技创新与科技服务能力快速提升,内部治理体系和治理能力不断加强,办学软实力明显增强。立足新的时代方位,深入贯彻落实党的二十大和习近平总书记关于教育强国建设的重要讲话精神,对“教育强国,石大何为”这一时代命题进行深刻思考,在学校第十二次党代会上提出坚持特色发展、内涵发展,奋力推进高质量发展,建设中国特色能源领域世界一流大学的奋斗目标。China University of Petroleum,as the first higher education institution in the realm of petroleum of the People's Republic of China,has been founded for 70 years and steadfastly adhered to the original mission of educating people for the Party and the Country under overall leadership of the Party and with the spirit of serving the country whole-heartedly.The university,starting from scratch,has made irreplaceable contribution to China’s petroleum industry and higher education in the petroleum field.With the dawn of the new era and the occasion of"Double First-class University Construction"construction,UPC has taken on a new look and stepped a new stage,thanks to its development concept,development path,organizational restructuring and strategic initiatives.The university,under the overall leadership of the Communist Party of China,has accomplished remarkable achievements in cultivating students and fostering virtues,in enhancing technological innovation and service capabilities,in reinforcing its internal governance system and capacity,and in its soft power in school running.Now in orientation of the new era,it is imperative to carry through the mission and policy of strengthening education of the 20 th CPC National Congress and speeches of General Secretary Xi Jinping.Therefore,it is time to reconsider a question:What can UPC do for our national education mission?The 12 th CPC congress of the university has set a new agenda,that is,to build a world-class energy university with Chinese characteristics by adhering to the concept of green,connotative and high-quality development.
