In the field of marine antifouling, traditional organotin antifouling agents have been explicitly prohibited due to their severe environmental consequences, and green antifouling materials have become the main research direction. Many natural organisms have the ability to resist fouling, and bionic antifouling technology mainly produces antifouling effect by simulating the special surface structures of plants and animals. With the continuous promotion of China's maritime power strategy, the development of bionic antifouling technology was of great significance to the protection of marine ecosystems, and became one of the research hotspots in the field of non-toxic antifouling. In this article, the research progress of six bionic technologies,in the field of marine antifouling was reviewed, including natural antifouling agents and their similar syntheses, bionic micro/nano-surfaces,bionic hydrogels, ultra slippery surfaces, bionic dynamic surfaces and zwitterionic coating. The characteristics, development trends and the future prospects of different antifouling technologies were introduced. The bionic antifouling technology will contribute to the development of marine antifouling towards a green and environmentally friendly direction.
