尹湾汉简“乘輿”再释——兼论“乘輿”的语义演变

摘　　要：尹湾汉墓简牍《武库永始四年兵车器集簿》中“乘輿”二字多次出现且均冠于各类器物之前。在结合传世文献与出土文献进一步分析其构词理据的基础上,探究其词义的历时演变,认为“乘輿”一词最早出现于先秦时期,作短语使用时为“乘坐车子”之义;作词使用时其本义为“泛指车驾”,并引申出“专指天子的车驾”“代指皇帝”等义。The word“Chengyu”appeared many times and was used before various artifacts in the Statistics Report of the Chariots and Weapons Stored in Armory in the 4th Year of the Yongshi Reign of the Han Dynasty in bamboo and wooden slips of the Han Dynasty unearthed from Yinwan.This paper consulted the relevant dictionary definitions,and explored its diachronic evolution based on the further analysis of its word-formation rationale in combination with the handed down documents and unearthed documents.It is recognized that the word“Chengyu”firstly appeared in the Pre-chin period,and when used as a phrase,it means“riding a carriage”;while when used as a word,its original meaning is“generally refers to carriages”,extending the meaning of“the carriages of the emperor”and“representing the emperor”.
