摘  要:For decades,astronomers have predicted that Pair Instability Supernovae(PISNe)might occur when a massive star(140-260 solar masses,M☉)reaches the end of its life,and suffers a cataclysmic explosion due to the transformation of gamma rays in its interior into pairs of free electrons and positrons,robbing the star of the radiation pressure required to support itself against gravity.
