《艰难时世》中主人公小汤姆和露易莎精神生态失衡解读——以精神生态理论角度

摘　　要：《艰难时世》以工业小镇焦煤镇为发生地撰写。在工业革命以及资本主义经济发展背景下,社会环境以及社会环境对家庭环境的异化,使处于该时代的人物出现精神生态失衡的情况。在该背景下,重经济轻文化、重物质轻精神成为社会发展的主要矛盾,在发展过程中不仅影响整个社会环境的稳定发展,同时人物精神生态中也出现失衡的情况。《艰难时世》中主人公小汤姆和露易莎正是时代背景下的牺牲品,小汤姆和露易莎也在现实生活中逐渐表现出精神生态的失衡。The novel,The Hard Times is set in an industrial town called Coking Coal Town.With the industrial revolution and the development of capitalist economy,people undergo the imbalance of spiritual ecology due to the alienation of social environment and the alienation of of family environment by social environment.In this context,the emphasis on economy rather than culture and on material over spirit has become the main contradiction of social development,which not only aff ects the stable development of the whole social environment,but also leads to the imbalance of spiritual ecology in the development process.The leading characters in the novel,The Hard Times,little Tom and Louise,who are the victims of under the background of capitalist economic development,gradually show imbalance of spiritual ecology in real life when infl uenced by the wrong ideas of family education and when spiritual home gets deteriorated by natural environment deprivation.
