摘 要:当今的舆论学存在一个庞杂的理论体系。由多元学科和方法共同编织的舆论研究之网始终以“实证主义”哲学为根本主线,而在舆论问题考察的融贯视阈中,符号学知识似乎并没有一个明确的位置。戴维森“舆论形成十阶段”的经典论述给予我们的启示是,舆论的形成及其意义实现是一个无法简单地以定量研究来解释的复杂过程,由此以现象学、语言学等传统哲学、人文学为基础,以揭示意义活动之规律为旨归的符号学,或许可以为这一复杂现象建构一套更适切,也更有深度的释义方法。Nowadays the science of public opinion is a complex theoretic system.The network of public opinion research,which is jointly woven by multiple disciplines and methods,always mainly focuses the philosophy of“positivism”;however,from the comprehensive perspective of the investigation of public opinion issues,the semiotic knowledge seems to have no clear position.Davidson's classic exposition of“ten stages of the formation of public opinion”gives us a revelation that the formation of public opinion and its meaning realization are a complex process that cannot be explained simply through quantitative research.Therefore,semiotics,which is based on traditional philosophy and humanities such as phenomenology and linguistics and aims at revealing the dynamic law of meaning,may construct a set of more appropriate and profound interpretation methods for this complex phenomenon.
