摘 要:全电磁粒子模拟方法通过求解电磁场与带电粒子之间的非线性相互作用,广泛应用于真空电子器件的数值模拟研究及参数优化设计,也能用于高能带电粒子产生电磁脉冲等物理现象的模拟研究。本文作者所在团队在全电磁粒子模拟算法研究、软件研制及应用等方面开展了系列工作,取得的进展有:(1)开展了2.5维全电磁粒子模拟算法研究及软件研制,提出了基于2.5维粒子模拟算法及并行遗传算法的真空电子器件优化方法,研制的软件已应用于真空电子器件的设计和优化;(2)完成了3维并行全电磁粒子模拟算法研究及软件研制,采用共形网格模拟3维复杂真空电子器件结构,具备超大规模并行计算能力,已应用于真空电子器件的3维数值模拟研究;(3)开展了基于时域间断有限元的全电磁粒子模拟算法研究,研制了基于该方法的全电磁粒子模拟软件,大幅提高了全电磁粒子模拟方法计算复杂结构的能力。The fully electromagnetic particle simulation method is widely used in the numerical simulation and parameter optimization of vacuum electronic devices(VEDs)by solving the nonlinear interaction between electromagnetic field and charged particles,and can also be used in the study of electromagnetic pulse generation with high-energy charged particles.In recent 20 years,we have carried out a series of researches on the fully electromagnetic particle simulation methods,code development and applications.The significant progress has been made as the following:First,we have been conducting a research on the 2.5D fully electromagnetic particle simulation code,and proposing optimization methods for VEDs based on fully electromagnetic particle simulation methods and parallel genetic algorithms.A self-developed code has been applied to the design and parameter optimization of vacuum electronic devices,and it can run on several massively parallel computers.Second,3D parallel fully electromagnetic particle simulation methods and the 3D parallel PIC code UNIPIC-3D have been studied and developed.To improve degree of accuracy,the conformal structural mesh generator is integrated in the code to describe the 3D complex VEDs structure,and the conformal electromagnetic field solver is adopted to compute the effect of fine structure in the VEDs.Finally,the fully electromagnetic particle simulation method based on discontinuous Galerkin time-domain method is studied,a 2.5D axial symmetric discontinuous finite-element particle-in-cell code is developed to describe the computational domain and solve the electromagnetic field equations in the VEDs based on this method,greatly improving the ability of the fully electromagnetic particle simulation method to calculate the complex structure.
