摘 要:金属钨以高熔点和高硬度而闻名,但关于其在超高压加载下的弹性性质研究却十分有限。结合激光皮秒超声技术和金刚石压砧技术,测量了钨从常压至46GPa压强范围内的纵波声速(V_(L))。在实验压强范围内,V_(L)随压强的升高而稳定增加,其压强依赖性满足斜率为∂V_(L)/∂P≈(0.020±0.001)km/(s·GPa)的线性关系,当压强为46GPa时,VL=(6.21±0.08)km/s。利用已知的状态方程ρ(P),还获得了钨的剪切模量(G)和横波声速(V_(T))随压强的关系。结果表明,G(P)和V_(T)(P)均随着压强的升高而持续增加,当压强为46GPa时,G=(268±10)GPa,V_(T)=(3.51±0.07)km/s。Tungsten is known for its high melting point and hardness but the knowledge on its elasticity at very high pressures is limited.Here,the longitudinal sound velocity,V_(L),of tungsten compressed in a diamond anvil cell to P=46GPa was measured using the technique of picosecond laser ultrasonics.Our results demonstrate that the VLincreases linearly with increasing pressure with a slope of ∂V_(L)/∂P≈(0.020±0.001)km/(s·GPa)and reaches(6.21±0.01)km/s at P=46GPa.Applying previously published equations of state,ρ(P),the pressure-dependent shear modulus,G(P),and transversal sound velocity,V_(T)(P),of tungsten are also derived.The results show that both parameters increase continuously with increasing pressure,and reach(268±10)GPa for the Gand(3.51±0.07)km/s for the V_(T),at P=46GPa.
