摘 要:作为修辞、演讲和道德榜样的范例,色诺芬的著作受到古希腊罗马读者的厚爱。中世纪以后,西方拉丁语世界很少关注他的著作,东部希腊读者对他著作的重视程度也出现下降趋势。文艺复兴时期及以后,欧洲读者开始接受色诺芬的著作。19世纪,对色诺芬的著作批评、辩护与折衷并存。20世纪,对色诺芬著作的接受既延续19世纪的走向又逐渐多元化。21世纪,学术界掀起了一场重新认识色诺芬著作的研究潮流,色诺芬的所有著作在西方得到全方位的研读。The works of Xenophon were warmly beloved by Greco-Roman readers as examples of rhetoric,speech,and morality.But the interest in his works sharply declined among both the western Latin readers and the eastern Greek readers during the Middle Ages.And then in the period of Renaissance and beyond,the European people began to accept Xenophon's works once again.In the 19th century,there were simultaneously various attitudes,like criticism,defense and compromise,towards Xenophon's works.The 20th century continued the situation from the 19th century,and the acceptance of Xenophon's works gradually turned to pluralism.In the 21st century,people begin to rediscover Xenophon's works,and all of his works have been studied in the West from different perspectives.
