摘　　要：1915年8月25日,一部名为《白玫瑰》的中国影片在新加坡的放映引起了很大的轰动,这是目前能够查证到的第一部在南洋放映的中国电影。经过考证,这部影片正是亚细亚影片公司拍摄的《新茶花》,由布拉斯基的中国影片公司在南洋发行。《新茶花》对外国小说《茶花女》成功地进行了本土化转译,并在跨国流通中因其“中国电影”的属性而受到关注。《新茶花》显示了早期中国电影在海外传播的过程中所凸显的民族性,以及在多元化的海外社会中的接受问题。On August 25,1915,a film called The White Rose was screened in Singapore causing a great sensation in the local area,which is the first Chinese film that can be verified to have been screened in Nanyang.According to various kinds of first-hand historical materials,The White Rose would be the Chinese film Xin Cha Hua produced by Asia Film Company,and distributed in Nanyang by Benjamin Brodsky's China Cinema Company.Xin Cha Hua was a successful local translation version of the foreign novel La Dame aux Camelias and has attracted much attention in transnational distribution because of its"Chinese film"atribute.Xin Cha Hua shows the national character highlighted in the process of overseas dissemination of the early Chinese film,as well as its acceptance in the diversified overseas society.
