摘　　要：1950年4月16日,解放海南岛战役打响。解放军靠着简陋的木帆船,与国民党精锐的海陆空立体防御体系作战,强渡琼州海峡,胜利完成琼岛北部的敌前登陆,随后向纵深进军,4月30日,攻占海南岛国民党军最后一个据点榆林港。5月1日,海南全岛解放。这是人民军队历史上第一次成功跨海作战。On April 16,1950,the Battle of Hainan Island began.Crossing the Qiongzhou Strait in rudimentary wooden sailboats,the People's Liberation Army fought the well-equipped land,sea,and air defenses of the Chinese Kuomintang Party.They successfully landed in northern Hainan and then advanced inland.On April 30,they captured the last Kuomintang stronghold,Yulin Port.By May 1,Hainan was completely liberated.This was the first successful cross-sea military operation by the People's Liberation Army.
