摘 要:各类应用与数字化技术的发展与创新逐渐推动PON网络向更高速率发展和演进。50G-PON作为10G PON技术的下一代演进技术,已经基本完成标准制定工作,目前正处于技术与产业突破过程中。50G-PON可通过波分方式,实现与运营商现有PON网络的共存和平滑升级。针对GPON区域和EPON区域,运营商可分别采用基于G/XGS/50G-PON三模光模块、10GE/50G-PON两模光模块的方式,相应实现多代际PON技术在同一个ODN的共存。针对未来超50G PON技术,研究集中在如何实现单波超50G大带宽传输能力,并聚焦于相干和强度调制直接检测方案。Various applications and digital innovations have driven the development and evolution of passive optical networks(PON)to higher speeds.As the next-generation evolution of 10G PON technology,50G-PON has essentially completed the standard formulation,and is currently in the process of technological and industrial breakthroughs.50G-PON can realize coexistence and smooth upgrading with operators existing PON networks by means of wavelength division.For the GPON region and EPON region,operators can adopt G/XGS/50G-PON three-mode optical modules and 10GE/50G-PON two-mode optical modules respectively to realize the coexistence of multi-generation PON technologies in the same optical distribution network(ODN).For the future ultra-50G PON technology,this paper focuses on how to realize ultra-50G large bandwidth transmission capability over single wavelength.The current main candidate technology solutions include coherent and intensity modulation direct detection(IM-DD).
