摘　　要：在水利社会史研究中,治水国家、水利共同体和水利社会等是焦点问题,也是颇具代表性的理论或概念。治水国家、水利共同体和水利社会都是通过水利的视角来解读传统中国社会。治水国家理论的假说可以表述为大规模治水活动是中央集权国家形成的原因;水利共同体和水利社会可视为概念,还未能形成理论,我们尚无法从中通过逻辑推理出假说以供验证。水利共同体更具有理论潜质,一些学术研究的成果可能会形成具有本土化特色的理论,从而也为当代中国的公共治理问题提供借鉴。In the research on the history of water conservancy society,water control state,water conservancy community and water conservancy society are not only the focus issues but also the representative theories or concepts.Water control country,water conservancy community and water conservancy society all interpret traditional Chinese society from the perspective of water conservancy.The hypothesis of water control state theory can be understood as that the large-scale water control activities are the cause of the formation of centralized state.Both water conservancy community and water conservancy society can be regarded as concepts,which have not yet been formed into theories,and we cannot deduce hypotheses through logical reasoning for verification.The concept of water conservancy community has more theoretical potential,and some academic studies may form theories with local characteristics,which may provide reference for the public governance in contemporary China.
