摘　　要：布鲁金斯学会是西方较早关注中国经济问题的研究机构,其历史悠久,迄今已发展成为美国具有重要影响力的智库之一。据目前统计,从1916年成立开始,到1956年受麦卡锡主义余波影响暂停研究中国经济问题,布鲁金斯学会共出版了9部与中国经济问题相关的著作,另外还有译作1篇、论文2篇。本文试图通过梳理和分析相关史实,还原布鲁金斯学会早期探索中国经济问题的研究历程与学术脉络,厘清中西学界之间的交流往来。这将为研究中国近现代经济史提供新的视角。The Brookings Institution is a research institution in the West to earlier pay attention to China's economic problems.With a long history,it has developed into one of the most influential think tanks so far.According to current statistics,from its founding in 1916 to its suspension of studies on China's economic issues in 1956 due to the aftermath of McCarthyism,the Brookings Institution had totally published nine works on China's economic issues,in addition to one translation and two papers.By combing and analyzing relevant historical facts,this thesis attempts to restore the research process and academic context of the Brookings Institution's early exploration of China's economic issues,and clarify the exchanges between Chinese and Western academic circles.This study will provide a new perspective for the study of the history of modern and contemporary China's economy.
