论涉外警务人才警务英语能力培养模式改革

摘　　要：警务英语能力是涉外警务人才的职业核心能力之一。目前我国公安院校涉外警务专业警务英语能力的培养模式及教育质量与涉外警务工作的现实需求存在着较大的差距,亟需与时俱进改革与创新。如何通过改革与创新警务英语能力培养模式提升学生的学习能力和运用水平,是涉外警务专业人才培养面临的重大课题之一。涉外警务专业警务英语能力的培养主要依托警务英语课程教学,其课程内容在人才能力培养课程体系中处于十分独特的地位,起着不可替代的特殊作用。涉外警务人才警务英语能力培养应从厘清课程目的和特点、更新课程建设理念、增强教学内容的适用性、创新教学模式、提升师资队伍教学水平等方面着力加强建设。Policing English proficiency is one of the professional core competences of foreign-related police talents.At present,there is a big gap between the cultivation mode of police English proficiency of foreign-related policing talents in China's public security colleges and universities and the real needs of modern foreign-related policing work,and there is an urgent need to carry out in-depth and systematic reform and innovation.How to reform and innovate the cultivation mode of police English proficiency of foreign-related police talents and improve their ability and level is one of the major issues facing the cultivation of foreign-related police talents.The cultivation of police English ability of foreign police talents mainly relies on the teaching of police English courses,police English courses,in the curriculum system of police English ability cultivation,which in a very unique position,plays an irreplaceable special role.To reform and innovate the mode of cultivating police English proficiency of foreign-related police talents,efforts should be made to clarify the purpose and characteristics of the courses,update the concept of course construction,enhance the applicability of teaching content,innovate the teaching mode,and improve the teaching level of the teaching staff.
