论《奥赛罗》中伊阿古的神经症人格  

On Iago’s Neurotic Personality in Othello

摘　　要：文章用新精神分析学派卡伦·霍妮的神经症人格理论,从社会成因、神经症需求和防御策略三个方面分析《奥赛罗》中伊阿古的人格类型,旨在挖掘出社会制度与人格形成、人物悲剧命运之间的密切关系。伊阿古的傲慢-报复型人格源于威尼斯共和国的种族歧视、等级制度、宗教差异,以及伊阿古个人的出身、处境和心理失衡。伊阿古为满足自己控制和利用他人、获得他人信任、推卸所有责任的神经症需求,建立起假意的利他、投射和合理化的防御机制。解析伊阿古的神经症人格,为我们更好地理解人格类型与社会文化因素、人物悲剧命运之间的密切关系提供了新的视角。This paper using Karen Horney’s neurotic personality theory analyzes Iago’s personality types in Othello from three aspects:social causes,neurotic needs and defensive strategies,in order to explore the close relationship between social system,personality formation and tragic fate of the characters.Iago’s arrogant retaliatory personality is derived from the racial discrimination,hierarchy,religious differences in the Republic of Venice,and his personal background,situation and psychological imbalance.In order to meet his neurotic needs of controlling and using others,gaining others’trust,and shirking all responsibilities,Iago established his defense mechanism,including false altruism,projection and rationalization.Provide a new path for us to think about the social system reasons behind Iago’s neurotic personality,to understand the close relationship between personality types and tragic fates of characters.
