摘  要:Teachers have elevated levels of stress while facing various professional challenges throughout their career.This paper discusses the significance of enhancing teachers’well-being in school context.It analyses the benefits associated with their psychological growth.Interventions aiming at empowering teachers are presented,as they contribute to their professional development.Well-being aspects need to be incorporated into teacher education programs for empowering all members of school community,as they equip them with the core competencies that enable them to cope with the demands of their professional life.Their inclusion in educational agendas is crucial to be expanded across the globe.
