摘　　要：《名誉领事》是当代英国小说家格雷厄姆·格林的代表作之一,以凸显人物身份的建构性进而表达重构现代进程中“全球英国性”的主题。主人公普拉尔失落的“家园”使其身份的差异性显现,贫民窟空间的行为使他寻求身份的同一性。普拉尔始终在边境小城进行跨文化语境下的交往实践,以求作为一名英国人的民族身份建构,鲜明表达了“英国性”民族身份的认同。作为小说中的主人公,普拉尔的身份超越了空间和时间,最终呈现出后现代社会背景下,归属感丧失的现代社会主体如何通过爱与信仰重构身份的当代意义。The Honorary Consul is one of the distinctive representatives of Graham Green,a contemporary British novelist.It highlights the constructiveness of the character's identity and thus expresses the theme of"global Englishness"in the reconstruction of the modern process.The protagonist Prair's lost"home"makes his identity differences appear,and the behavior of slum space makes him seek identity.Prair always carries out communication practice under the cross-cultural context in the border town,in order to construct the national identity as an Englishman,and clearly expresses the identity of the"British"national identity.As the protagonist in the novel,Prall's identity transcends space and time,and finally presents the contemporary significance of how the modern social subject,who has lost the sense of belonging,reconstructs its identity through love and faith in the context of post-modern society.
