明代西南地区土司参与中央王朝主导的军事战争及其价值述论

摘　　要：在明代西南地区,中央王朝委任当地民族首领担任可以世袭的“土司”,以笼络和驾驭少数民族上层,加强对该地区的控制。土司必须履行中央王朝规定的治理地方、保卫疆土、缴纳贡赋、参与征战等义务。土司均拥有自己的武装力量即土兵,受中央王朝管控,供中央王朝征调。明代中央王朝频繁征调西南地区土兵参与各种军事战争,如铲除故元残余势力、镇压各族民众反抗、平定土司叛乱等。这些军事战争既蕴含着正向价值,如社会进步、藩篱保护、维护统一等;又蕴含着负向价值,如社会破坏、财力糜费、弊端滋生。In the southwestern region,the central dynasty appointed local ethnic leaders as hereditary“Tusi”to win over and control the upper class of ethnic minorities and strengthen control over the region.Tusi must fulfill the obligations stipulated by the central dynasty to govern the place,defend the territory,pay tribute,and participate in wars.Tusi all had their own armed forces,namely the army,which were controlled by the central dynasty and were available for recruitment by the central dynasty.During the Ming Dynasty,the central dynasty frequently recruited local soldiers from the southwest region to participate in various military wars,such as eradicating the remnants of the Yuan Dynasty,suppressing the rebellion of various ethnic groups,and quelling the rebellion of Tusi.These military wars contained positive values,such as the value of social progress,the value of fence protection,and the value of maintaining unity.It also contained negative values,such as social destruction value,financial waste value,and malpractice breeding value.
