摘  要:瓦尔特·本雅明的《讲故事的人——尼古拉·列斯科夫作品考察》(1936)生动描摹人类社会讲故事的古老传统濒临消亡的症状,进而揭櫫其缘由。本雅明是在两个维度上同时开展讨论的,一个是古老的民众故事讲述传统是如何生成和运作的,再一个是当代的代表性作家列斯科夫是如何继承传统诗性智慧从而形成其叙事艺术的风格的。本雅明以其一贯的知微见著的风格,交错讨论了传统叙事智慧的本体论问题和对传统叙事智慧列斯科夫式利用的工具论问题,从而使其《讲故事的人》具有宽广的论域和巨大的张力——小说艺术、故事美学和口头诗学等领域,皆可从中获得深刻启迪。In Storytellers:Reflections on the Works of Nikolai Leskov(1936),Walter Benjamin vividly depicts the symptoms that the ancient tradition of storytelling in human society are on the brink of extinction,and then reveals the reasons.Benjamin conducts his discussions on two dimensions simultaneously.One is how the ancient folk storytelling traditions are generated and operated,and the other how the contemporary representative writer Leskov inherits the traditional poetic wisdom to form his style of narrative art.Benjamin,with his consistent style of learning about what is forthcoming by observing tiny clues,alternately discusses the ontological issues of traditional narrative wisdom and the instrumental issues of Leskov's use of traditional narrative wisdom,thus endowing his The Storyteller with a broad scope of discourse and the enormous tension.Thus,novel art,story aesthetics,oral poetics,and among other fields can all get deep inspirations from it.
