从项士元的藏书活动看其藏书思想

摘　　要：项士元是民国台州藏书家的杰出代表,他既将台州大多数藏书家旧藏中的精品收入囊中,成为地方文献的集大成者;又顺应时代潮流,主动将数万卷藏书尽数捐献,开启了近代台州私藏向公藏过渡的历史序幕。从项士元的生平和藏书活动中,可见他的藏书思想的特点:在藏书上不唯古本,专藏乡邦文献;藏以致用,重视整理利用;开放藏书,促进交流传播以及化私为公,接轨公共收藏等。Xiang Shiyuan is a representative of Taizhou's book collectors in the Republic of China.He collected the fine works from the old collections of most of the bibliophiles in Taizhou and became a master of local literature.On the other hand,he followed the trend of the times and donated tens of thousands of volume books to the public libraries.It opened the historical prelude to the transition from private collections to public collections in modern Taizhou.Based on his life experience and book col⁃lection activities,his four collection thoughts including specializing in local documents,paying attention to sorting and using them,opening up the collection and turning private collection into public are thus evident.
