摘　　要：川芎嗪(tetramethylpyrazine,TMP)是中药川芎(Ligusticum wallichii Franch)的重要活性成分之一,数十年来在临床上广泛用于治疗缺血性心脑血管疾病。在过去十余年中,TMP因其对脑缺血和阿尔茨海默病实验模型的神经保护作用而成为研究最广泛的植物化学药物。重要的是,TMP在帕金森病(Parkinson’s disease,PD)的实验模型中也具有神经保护作用。研究表明,TMP在PD中发挥多种药理学作用,如抗炎、抗氧化和抗凋亡,使其成为治疗PD的一种有吸引力的治疗策略。因此,该综述旨在总结TMP在PD中的神经保护作用的最新进展以及机制,证明TMP可能成为防治PD的新药。Tetramethylpyrazine(TMP)is one of the important active ingredients in Chinese herb Ligusticum wallichii Franch(Chuanxiong)and has been widely used in clinic for treatment of ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases for decades.During the last decade,TMP has been the most widely studied phytochemicals for their neuroprotective effects against experimental models of cerebral ischemia and Alzheimer’s diseases.Importantly,TMP is also effective in experimental models of Parkinson’s disease(PD).Several experimental studies suggest the pleiotropic neuroprotective effects of TMP such as anti-inflammation,antioxidation,and anti-apoptosis,making it an appealing therapeutic strategy for treating PD.Therefore,in this review we aim to compile the recent updates and cellular and molecular mechanisms of neuroprotection of TMP in PD.The current review highlights that TMP can be useful to identify novel therapeutic agents in relation to the treatment of PD.
