清末广州河南造园史录——以《番禺河南小志》为线索

摘　　要：清末广州园事繁荣,整体呈现出较高的造园水平,从规模上来看以广州河南地区为甚。在繁荣的中西贸易推动下,广州绅商纷纷选择河南地区营建私宅园林,产生了同文行潘家花园和怡和行伍家花园等颇具规模的私家园林。以《番禺河南小志》为线索,在整体解读、筛选提取、对比甄别、推断领悟书中有关园林记述内容的基础上,系统梳理广州河南潘家、伍家等造园活动。研究发现,“园中园”为潘家、伍家花园的典型特征。园内陈设中西混合,反映出外贸经济的影响。与此同时,各类型园林表现出较强的公共性,反映了晚清广州园林近代转型的趋势。Garden activities were prosperous in Canton in late Qing Dynasty.It showed a high level of garden landscaping,especially in Honam in Canton.Driven by the prosperous trade between China and the west,a large number of gentries and businessmen chose Honam to build private houses and gardens.As a result,Honam staged for some large-scale private gardens,such as Puankhequa’s garden and Howqua’s garden.Taking“Records of Panyu Honam”as a clue,on the basis of overall understanding,extracting,comparing,deducting of the description of gardens in this book,this paper systematically combs the gardening activities of Pan and Wu families in Honam of Canton.It is found that“garden in garden”is a typical feature in Puankhequa’s garden and Howqua’s garden.A mixture of Chinese and Western decorative styles in gardens shows the influence of foreign trade economy.In the meanwhile,these gardens show a strong public character,reflecting the trend of modern transformation of Canton gardens in late Qing Dynasty.
