摘 要:采用典型商用原材料及工艺流程制作了双电层电容器(EDLC),研究了其活性炭电极在未使用前、充放电循环初期、寿命终止等各个阶段的电容特性、结构及变化过程。结果表明:在充放电循环初期,电极中活性炭的比容量、比表面积、总孔容积、中孔容积、平均孔径较充放电循环前分别降低了18.1%、12.15%、36.17%、78.05%、8.68%,极片电阻率上升了20.18%。继续循环至寿命终止,除极片电阻率继续上升12.21%外,其他变化较小。对电极清洗烘干重新注入新电解液后,电极活性炭的比容量可恢复至充放电循环初期同等水平,并具有稳定的循环表现。EDLC充放电循环初期的内部反应使其容量明显衰减,显著影响了能量密度。该研究结果对开发高性能活性炭,进一步提高EDLC能量密度具有重要意义。A electric double layer capacitor(EDLC)was made with typical commercial raw materials and technological processes.Capacitance characteristics,structure and change process of its activated carbon electrode at various stages,such as before use,at the beginning of the charge-discharge cycle,and at the end of its life,were studied.The results show that at the beginning of the charge-discharge cycle,the gram capacity,specific surface area,total pore volume,mesopore volume and average pore size of the activated carbon in the electrode decreased by 18.1%,12.15%,36.17%,78.05%and 8.68%respectively compared with those before the charge-discharge cycle,and the electrode resistivity increased by 20.18%.Continue to cycle until the end of service life,with the exception of the continuous increase of 12.21%in electrode resistivity,other changes are small.After the electrode is washed,dried and re-injected with new electrolyte,the gram capacity of activated carbon in the electrode can be restored to the same level at the beginning of the charge-discharge cycle,and has a stable cycle performance.The internal reaction at the beginning of the EDLC charge-discharge cycle significantly attenuates its capacity and significantly affects the energy density.The research results are of great significance to develop high-performance activated carbon and further improve the energy density of EDLC.
