摘　　要：出版物与出版物档案系两种截然不同的事物,不存在逻辑上的种属关系,其所发挥的主要功能也存在差异。究其根源来说,是由其自身结构决定的。而两者结构上的相似,决定了出版物与出版物档案之间存在转化的可能。对于不同主体,出版物能够作为档案保管的本质正在于出版物发生了文件横向运动。正确认识这一现象背后的本质,具有重要的理论意义和实践意义。Publications and publication archives are two completely different things,and there is no logical species relationship.Their main functions are also different.Basically this is determined by their own structures.But the similarity of the two structures determines the possibility of their transformation.For different subjects,the essence that publications can be kept as archives lies in the lateral movement of the documents.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to correctly understand the essence behind this phenomenon.
