基于夜间灯光数据的北部湾城市群空间扩张及驱动力研究

摘　　要：针对以往研究城市问题在数据真实性和空间属性上存在不足、研究内容多探索其表面特征和时空变化过程、研究方法和因子选择具有一定的局限性等弊端,本研究以北部湾城市群为例,利用夜间灯光数据提取城市建成区面积,从城市建成区面积年扩张速度、年扩张动态度、年扩张强度、扩张协调性,分析2006~2020年城市空间扩张特征;利用灰色关联模型分析城市建成区面积与八个社会经济因子之间的关系,探究引起城市扩张的驱动力。研究结果表明:①利用夜间灯光数据提取城市建成区面积能够弥补传统数据的不足,准确地得到空间扩张水平估计;②大部分城市扩张与人口增长协调不佳,省会城市南宁市、海口市始终是北部湾城市群空间扩张的中心;③城市扩张与八个社会经济因子联系紧密,人口密度是促进北部湾城市群空间扩张的最主要因素。With the development of social economy,people’s living standards are gradually improving,and the process of urbanization is also greatly accelerating.However,the rapid expansion of cities and the increasing urban population have brought about a series of serious environmental problems in Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.For instance,the area of cultivated land and forest land is gradually reducing due to the blind expansion of land use,and the unreasonable distribution of resources is leading to a growing gap between the central urban area and the county-level urban development.To better plan the urban land area of the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration and promote the sustainable development of the regional economy,this paper employs innovative night light data to extract the urban built-up area.The objectives of this study are to analyze the characteristics of urban spatial expansion from 2006 to 2020,including annual expansion speed,dynamic attitude,intensity,and coordination.Additionally,the study utilizes the grey relational model to explore the relationship between the urban built-up area and eight socio-economic factors,aiming to identify the driving forces behind urban expansion.The results demonstrate that using of night light data for the extraction of the urban built-up area effectively overcomes the limitations of traditional data,resulting in a more accurate estimation of the level of spatial expansion.This approach offers a comprehensive understanding of the patterns of urban growth within the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.Furthermore,the analysis reveals that a significant portion of urban expansion in the region is not adequately coordinated with population growth.Notably,the provincial capitals,Nanning and Haikou,consistently play a central role in the spatial expansion of the Beibu Gulf urban agglomeration.This finding emphasizes the necessity of improving coordination between population growth and urban expansion to achieve sustainable development.Moreover,the study identifies a close relationship
