摘　　要：清末民初的中国现代化转型带来了各类型社会矛盾的产生,并催生了知识分子的功能解构、身份建构与行动重构。五四运动是一场深刻的思想解放运动,也是一场伟大的群众爱国运动。其中,五四知识分子的功能解构接续了传统功名士子精神气质分化、政治理想分化、行动方略分化的历史逻辑;其身份建构生成于知识分子离家出走、合群方式渐进演进、遭逢巨变思想跃迁的现实逻辑;其行动重构锻造于集体行动、社会运动、革命行动的实践逻辑。当然,集体行动、社会运动及革命之路的界限并非不可逾越,在一定条件下可以发生转换。总之,将五四知识分子通向革命之路的考察置于长时段脉络之上,有利于从一个侧面揭示中国知识分子接续的社会功能、面对的现实基点以及未来的可能空间。China's modernization transformation in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China brought about the emergence and re-emergence of social contradictions,and gave birth to the function deconstruction,identity construction and action reconstruction of intellectuals.“May Fourth Movement” is a profound ideological liberation movement,but also a great mass patriotic movement.Among them,the function deconstruction of intellectuals in the May Fourth Movement continued the historical logic of the differentiation of spiritual temperament,political ideal and action strategy of the traditional distinguished scholars.Their identity construction is shaped by the practical logic of intellectuals leaving home,gradually evolving their modes of association,and undergoing significant ideological shifts when confronted with enormous changes.Its action reconstruction is forged in the practical logic of collective action,social movement and revolutionary action.Certainly,the boundaries of collective action,social movements and the path of revolution are not clear and insurmountable,and can be transformed under certain conditions.In conclusion,placing the examination of the May Fourth intellectuals' path to revolution within a long-term context is beneficial for shedding light on the ongoing societal roles of Chinese intellectuals,the challenges they face in the current context,and the potential opportunities in the future.
