摘 要:The Northern Orogenic Belt(NOB,also known as the Central Asian Orogenic Belt,CAOB)is the world's largest Phanerozoic accretionary orogenic belt and records geological processes involved in the development and evolution of the Paleo-Asian Ocean from the Neoproterozoic through the early Paleozoic to the Late Paleozoic. The NOB thus provides an ideal natural laboratory for geologists to study Phanerozoic continental dynamics and mineralization.
