《管锥编》释“言”与“暗思维”文体——其文体生成及特征

摘　　要：对比《管锥编》文体(兼涉《宋诗选注》)与“毕达哥拉斯文体”之异同,就“同”而言,因彼此皆取“融诗性于思辨”,这就不约而同地疏离了独尊“教材式”书写的呆板无趣。就“异”而言,则《管锥编》“暗思维”文体之生成及特征,与其给定历史语境的凝重纠结以及对著者学思贞洁的人格依赖,怕是古希腊“毕达哥拉斯学派”难以想象亦难以践履的。尤其《宋诗选注》(撰于1955—1957年)“暗思维”文体所呈示的“微判断”“隐理据”“侧阐释”诸特征,后被《管锥编》(撰于1972—1975年)从中提炼出“当世学人伦理”的链式秘籍,更足以令后世高山仰之,且浩叹钱锺书无愧为20世纪中国学术史上的伟大学者暨思想家。To compare the similarities and differences between the stylistic form of Pipe Cone(which also involves The Notes of Selected Poems of the Song Dynasty)and Pythagorean style,as far as the“similarities”are concerned,since both adopt“incorporating poetic essence into speculation”,they coincidentally alienate the dullness and boringness of the exclusive“textbook style”writing.As far as the“differences”are concerned,the generation and features of stylistic form of“inner-most thought”in Pipe Cone,the dignified entanglement with its given historical context and the personal dependence on the author’s pure learning and thinking are difficult to imagine and prac-tice even by the ancient Greek Pythagorean school.The features of“micro judgment”,“hidden reasoning”and“lateral interpretation”presented in the stylistic form of“innermost thought”in The Notes of Selected Poems of the Song Dynasty(written in 1955-1957)were later refined into chain secrets of“contemporary scholar ethics”by Pipe Cone(written in 1972-1975),which is highly admirable among later generations.Qian Zhongshu(1910-1998)is indeed worthy of being a great scholar and thinker in the 20th-century Chinese academic history.
