摘　　要：德里罗的《大都会》以金融大亨埃里克生命中最后一天在城市不同空间里的漫游历程再现了后现代社会的伦理救赎主题。从空间视角出发探究小说主人公在不同城市空间里的伦理选择,可以发现主人公在不同空间转换中经历了从伦理缺位到伦理觉醒再到伦理救赎的过程,最终实现了自我灵魂的解放。小说反映了德里罗对后现代美国社会如何摆脱消费文化和商业文明牵制、重建社会伦理秩序问题的思考。DeLillo’s Cosmopolis reappears the theme of ethical redemption in the post-modern society with the journey of Eric,a financial tycoon,wandering through different spaces in the city on the last day of his life.From the perspective of space,we can explore the ethical choices of the protagonists in different urban spaces,and find that the protagonists have experienced the process from the absence of ethics to the awakening of ethics and then to the redemption of ethics in different spatial transformations,and finally realized the liberation of their souls.The novel reflects Delillo’s thinking on how to get rid of the constraints of consumer culture and commercial civilization in post-modern American society and rebuild the social ethical order.
