摘　　要：马克思逝世之后,恩格斯晚年在与多位友人的书信中,对由马克思和他所创立的唯物史观作了进一步反思,其中一个十分重要的关键点就是深刻总结了唯物史观“总的联系”的方法论。他强调在把握人类社会历史的过程中,要全面考察人类社会历史的各个要素,并探究各个要素之间相互作用的机制,最终形成对待整个人类社会及其历史的横向和纵向的方法论结构,从而以一种概念的思维结构去反映、框定和深谙人类社会历史内在的实质和客观规律,进而更有效地指引人类社会历史的前行。恩格斯晚年书信中关于唯物史观“总的联系”的方法论,对于如何推进中国式现代化建设具有重要的启迪意义。After Marx’s passing,Engels proceeded his reflection on historical materialism in a series of correspondence with his friends.One of a pivotal point is his profound recapitulation of the"holistic connection"in the historical materialism.He emphasized that,in grasping the human history,it was necessary to comprehensively investigate various elements of human society,and to explore the mechanism of their interactions,insuring horizontal and vertical perspectives to deal with the overall human history.In this way,he could perceive the inner essence and objective laws of human history with a conceptualized view,faciltating the advancement of human social history in a more effective way.Moreover,this methodology of the"holistic connection"will largely inspire the construction of Chinese style modernization.
