摘　　要：史念海先生于1944年撰著的《中国的运河》是学术界较早印行出版的中国运河学著作。《中国的运河》以历史文献为依据,在为世所用的治学理念指导下,辅之以实地考察,提出了中国大运河研究中许多创造性的见解。这些具有创新价值的见解贯穿了史念海先生中国大运河研究的全部学术实践活动,时至今日仍有其熠熠生辉之处,值得当代学人认真研究、传承、光大。Mr.ShiNianhai’s work Canal of China,written in 1944,is an earlier published work on Chinese Canal Science in academic circles.Based on historical documents,guided by the academic philosophy used for the world,supplemented by on-the-spot investigation,Canal of China puts forward many creative opin⁃ions in the study of China’s Grand Canal.These innovative insights have run through all the academic and practical activities of Mr.ShiNianhai’s research on China’s Grand Canal.Up to now,they still have their brilliance,which is worthy of serious research,development and in he ritance by contemporary scholars.
