摘  要:挑战性网络环境下的无线链路通常带宽较低,数据包压缩是提高通信性能的重要手段。过去针对TCP/IP及IPv6数据包头压缩提出的一些方案虽然可以取得较好的数据包头压缩性能,但存在协议状态或算法逻辑较复杂的不足,压缩处理开销和延迟较大。提出一种轻量的数据包头压缩及相应的数据压缩编码方法,使用模板数据包来对TCP/IP数据包进行压缩。使用互联网上采集的数据流对压缩方法进行了实验评估,结果表明,所提方法在多数情况下能够取得优于鲁棒性包头压缩(ROHC)协议的压缩性能,且压缩处理延迟明显优于ROHC协议,具有良好的应用前景。Wireless links usually have low bandwith in challenging network environments,and packet compression is an important means to improve communication performance.Although some solutions proposed for TCP/IP and IPv6 packet header compression could achieve good packet header compression performance in the past,there exist shortcomings in complex protocol states or complex algorithm logic,and the compression processing overhead and the delay are large.A lightweight packet header compression and corresponding data compression encoding method are proposed,in which template packets are used to compress TCP/IP packets.The compression method is experimentally evaluated by using data streams collected in the internet,and the results show that the proposed method can achieve better compression performance than the ROHC protocol in most cases,and the compression processing delay is also significantly better,meaning that the proposed method has a good application prospect.
