摘　　要：核桃(Juglans regia L.)是一种重要木本粮油生产资料和兼具营养和药用价值的经济果树[1]。我国是世界核桃种植大国之一,在各地区种植广泛,其中新疆是核桃种植面积和产量的主产大省之一,居全国第2位,仅次于云南省[2-3],这已经成为新疆地方区域经济发展和农民脱贫致富的重要支柱产业发展之一。A new disease on walnut tree occurred in May 2022 and was founded at a walnut forest farm in Wensu county,Aksu prefecture,Xinjiang,China.The typical symptoms of the disease were dieback and xylem necrosis on the branches.A total of 10 isolates with the same morphological characteristics were isolated using tissue separation and mycelium tip purification techniques,and the Koch's postulation was carried out.Base on morphological features and gene sequence analysis on ITS,EF-1α,andβ-tubulin,the pathogen causing the disease was identified as Diplodia seriata.To our knowledge,this is the first report on walnut trees caused by D.seriata in Xinjiang.This study provides an important theoretical basis for the occurrence regularity and for the prevention and control of walnut tree canker caused by D.seriata in Xinjiang.
