摘 要:敦煌写卷中保存有大量的斋愿文类作品,这批作品多是当时佛教文化活动的产物。敦煌愿文类作品体式多样,情感笃实,体现出隋唐五代时期敦煌作为多民族聚居地区的深厚文化积淀,也反映出中古时期敦煌地区的社会习俗风尚。敦煌斋愿文不仅佛教特征突出,文学色彩也很鲜明。笔者通过对敦煌写卷中斋愿文类作品的考察分析,对信仰与文学之间的关系进行探讨,指出佛教已经深入到当时敦煌社会各阶层的日常生活和民俗娱乐之中,文学赋予信仰以“有意味的形式”,充实的力量和美的色彩,信仰由此得到更为确切的表达,其精神内核也得到进一步加强和完善。There are many votive texts for Buddhist ceremonies among Dunhuang manuscripts,most of which were written for the purpose of Buddhist cultural activities.These manuscripts exhibit a diversity of styles while expressing a range of highly sincere feelings,and embody the deep cultural roots and medieval customs of Dunhuang as a place for the co-existence of various ethnic groups during the Sui,Tang and Five Dynasties.Besides the sociological interest and Buddhist content,the literary quality of these texts is also worthy of note.By investigating and analyzing the votive passages among Dunhuang manuscripts,the author discusses the relationship between Buddhist faith and literature,and emphasizes that Buddhism had taken root in the daily life and folk entertainment of people from all classes in Dunhuang.Literature imparts faith with a meaningful form,enhancing its power and endowing it with beauty:when faith finds a more concrete form of expression-as in the votive texts of Dunhuang-its spiritual core is further strengthened and improved.
