摘 要:本研究基于专门用途英语能力等级量表开发和验证的原则和方法,试图构建中国医学学术英语读写能力量表。本文报告了量表构建与初步效度验证的成果。第一阶段是描述语库构建,描述语从已有的语言能力量表、课程标准、教学/考试大纲和教材等文献中收集,形成含549条描述语的初始库,经两轮筛选和修改后精简至231条描述语。第二阶段是量表设计,来自医学院校和外语院校的7名专家参与了描述语的分类和分级,得到涵盖三个级别的194条描述语的量表A版。第三阶段是A版量表的初步效度验证,来自三个省的医学院校共49位教师参与了问卷调查,经修订最终得到包含124条描述语的量表B版。未来将对B版量表进行大规模效度验证。This study aims to develop a literacy scale of English for Medical Academic Purposes(EMAP)based on the principles and methods of developing and validating scales of English for Specific Purposes(ESP).The results of the construction and preliminary validation of the scale is reported.The first stage is to build the descriptor pool.An initial pool containing 549 descriptors is formed by collecting items from existing literature such as language ability scales,curriculum standards,teaching and testing syllabuses as well as textbooks.231 descriptors are obtained after two rounds of screening and revising.In the second stage of scale design,7 experts from universities of medical science and foreign languages are engaged in the classification and grading of descriptors,and establish the Scale of EMAP(1.0)containing 194 descriptors at 3 levels.The third stage is the preliminary validation of Scale 1.0.A total of 49 teachers from medical colleges and universities in three provinces participate in the questionnaire survey.The descriptors are revised again and thus the Scale of EMAP(2.0)including 124 descriptors is finally developed.Scale 2.0 will be used for large-scale validation.
