小说话语的多义性——以康拉德《黑暗的心》为例

摘　　要：波兰裔英国著名作家康拉德在1899年发表中篇小说《黑暗的心》,这部小说经过国内外学者120多年的研究,具有多层次的意义。这主要体现在“黑暗”和“心”这两个词语的概念和关系、小说的故事情节、作者的经历与构思、对后殖民主义的认识上,也决定于译者、读者、评论者不同时期的感受。文章从语言学人的视野出发,依据系统功能语言学的语篇意义理论,并结合陈望道先生提出的指导写作的“六何”理论阐述了自己的观点。The novel Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad in 1899 has been interpreted into multiple significances through more than 120 years’studies from researchers worldwide.It’s embodied in the relation between the words darkness and heart,the plots of the novel,the author’s experiences,conception and understanding on post-colonialism,and influenced by the thoughts of translators,readers and commentators.This paper uses Chen Wangdao’s“six whats”theory on paper writing to analyse the novel based on the discourse meaning in systemic functional linguistics.
